One in 64 children in Georgia may receive an autism diagnosis. Autism often means that a child’s brain works a little differently and can affect how kids understand and relate to others. An autism diagnosis can be overwhelming for a child and a parent, but it doesn’t have to be. Thanks to donors like you, our families have access to evidence-based treatments and support services needed to help their child with autism reach their greatest potential. For many families that have a child with autism, even the simplest milestones are something to celebrate.

Seven years ago, three things he loves in life – technology, his grandson and helping others – came together when he joined Marcus Autism Center’s Board of Trustees.
